老师们，同学们，大家好！

Good morning, dear teachers and schoolmates:

在这个缤纷多彩的五月，我们的校园活动也绚烂斑斓地展开着，这周开始我们的英语节又要拉开帷幕了。

In this colorful season, the activities in our school are also colorful and exciting.

Our English Festival is coming this week.

英语是我们英华学校的特色课程，英语节恰恰是一个促进我们学习英语热情，让我们展示、交流、运用英语技能的大好机会。

Our school is famous for its English. English Festival is a good chance for us to learn more about English. We can show our English, talk in English and express ourselves in English.

英语在今天十分重要，它已经被应用到世界的各个角落，成为商业上最为通用的一门语言。如果我们能说好英语，我们就有更多的机会成功。

Nowadays, English is very important. It is spoken all over the world today. It is useful for us to learn English well.

其实学英语不仅仅因为它的重要性和实用性，更是因为我们喜爱英语。学习英语，我们可以体会到一种不同的语言节奏，一种不同的思维方式，它可以给我们更多接触世界的空间。当我们说出一口流利的英语时，会感到很自信。

We all like learning English, for it is important and useful. Through learning English, we will have a different feeling about a foreign language and we will have a different way of thinking. Learning English well will bring us more opportunities to know the world. We can speak English well and we will be proud of ourselves.

英语节中，同学们可以尽情展示自己的英语才艺，歌唱、演讲、表演等，样样会都有你最出色的表现。快快参与到英语节中来，让英语学习充满无限快乐！

Dear schoolmates, let’s try to show our English during the English festival, you can sing and dance, you can give a speech, you can act. Come on and join us, let’s enjoy it together.
