老师们、同学们，大家早上好！

Good morning, dear teachers and schoolmates.

今天我将和大家谈谈劳动。

Today I will talk about Labour.

富兰克林说：“劳动是幸福之父。”高尔基说：“我们世界上最美好的东西，都是由劳动，由人的聪明的手创造出来的。” 马克思说：“劳动最光荣！”同学们，你们一定也参加过不少这样或那样的劳动，你劳动的感受是什么呢？

Franklin says：“Labour is the father of happiness.” Gorky says：“All the best things are made by Labour and the smart’s hands.” Marx says：“Lobour is most honorable.”Dear students. you must often join in these activities. How do you feel?

劳动创造了财富、创造了美好的生活。劳动可以锻炼人的意志品质。最主要的如果我们亲身去体验劳动，就能体会到别人劳动的艰辛，知道去珍惜、爱护别人的劳动果实。

Labour makes fortune and our good life. It trains our will. If we take part in it, we will understand the hard of Labour, cherish it and other people’s Labour.

上周四六年级一班全体师生到餐厅进行了劳动体验，我们不怕脏不怕累，将餐桌餐凳上下擦洗一新。劳动中，我们掌握了劳动技巧，更体会到了餐厅叔叔阿姨工作的辛苦。

Last Thursday, the students of Class 1, Grade 3 did some cleaning in the dinning hall. We are all hard-working. We also learned a lot and knew the hard work of the uncles and aunts.

在此向全体同学发出倡议：珍惜饭菜，不浪费；要文明用餐，不把饭菜撒到地上，主动捡拾掉到地上的碗和勺子，饭后及时擦桌子，摆好餐凳。

Now we do hope all of us can obey the rules in the dinning hall.

其实我们的身边许多事物都是别人的劳动成果。校园里的花草树木，雪白的墙壁，漂亮的黑板设计、舒适的教室环境，优美的校园环境，常用的体育设施，干净的楼梯等，都需要我们每一个人去爱护和珍惜，请用我们的双手一起行动，创造更加美丽的家园吧！

In fact, there are many things we should cherish around us. For example, beautiful trees, white walls, cozy classroom and so on. Let’s use our hands to make a more beautiful one.
