普华永道笔经,2007


PWC的笔试，是我最不愿意放在这里的，因为会夹杂太多个人情感。

对PWC乃至“四大”的喜爱，没有什么非凡的缘由；就像对PWC的情有独钟，也说不出什么非凡的缘由一样。你们可以不理解、也可以说我盲目，可我就是喜欢，无可救药。正是因为这样的喜欢，让这份经历带给我的喜悦和悲伤，都格外深刻。然而，我还是会尽量客观的去记录PWC的经历，留给需要它的人，也算为自己一度的梦想有个交待。

PWC的招聘流程是：网申＋笔试＋评估中心（AC）＋partner面

网申：

全英文，在PWC的官方网站上，按步骤慢慢来就好了，没什么好说的。印象深刻的是，网申的项目做得比较细致，就连各门课程的成绩都要写上去，光是课程名就让我翻译了办天。

最后有四个open questions：

1. why are you applying for this position?

2. please explain how your personal qualities,skills,knowledge and working experience will help you to be successful in the position for which you are applying.

3. what community or student's clubs do you belong to and to what extend are you involved?

4. any additional information?

就这四个问题，让我消耗了半个通宵，打磨了好几个小时，千锤百炼出来的答案受益无穷，成为了我的“模板”，现在看看是非常值得的。这是PWC带给我的重要收获之一。

能通过网申其实挺意外的，一个平淡的早晨，意外的接到hr的笔试通知电话，这可能也是PWC之旅唯一让我兴奋的事情了。

笔试：

全英文，作文，半个小时，原则上不限定字数。一张划着密密的横格的a4纸，穿着非常professional的职业套装的相当pp的三个mm，温柔又不失干练地用英文主持了整场考试。除了答题，整个考场氛围乃至考试过程，都带给我美的享受。

题目：Shanghai has successfully bid for World Expo. What are the benefits of this to the city and to China as a whole? 感觉时间挺紧的。考试过程中，HR曾明确提示，书写是否工整并不重要。可是，我到现在还是坚定的认为，她那句话基本是扯淡。

虽然，笔试要考察的主要是：英文水平、逻辑思路。但是，傻子都知道，整洁的卷面会加分。

关于作文本身，我无话可说。想顺利通过笔试，一要平实多写多练e文作文，二要多关注经济方面的news。

最后顺便放几个其他考区的题目：

1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a freely convertible currency? Do you think China will allow the RMB to freely float on the international market in the next 5 years?

2. What must China do to improve the confidence of foreign investors and create a stable and open market economy？

3. Comment on Chinese consumer confidence in internet-based commerce.

4. Can Shanghai ever truly become the financial center to rival Hong Kong? If so, when and how?

5. The EXPO 2010 is coming to Shanghai. What is the long term viability of the costly buildings and infrastructure at this venue?

6. How can the employment market in cities like Shanghai and Beijing accommodate the increasing numbers of migrant workers relocating there?

7. 如何吸引外资来建立一个稳定开放的市场经济


笔试完了，我信心百倍的为下一个环节AC踏踏实实地预备了一个星期。结果怎么也没有想到，其实，当我走出笔试考场的时候，和PWC的缘分就已经尽了。

失望、遗憾或者说是打击，都在所难免。

可是，这个过程中，我还是收获很多了。因为我知道，所有预备，都不会白白浪费。PWC的失利注定是为我的终极目标做了垫脚石，只是，在我看来，这块垫脚石，有点太过华丽了……
