each nation has many good people who help to take care of others. for example, some high school and college students in the united states often spend many hours as volunteers in hospitals, orphanages or homes for the aged. they read books to the peopie in these places,or they just visit them or listen to their problems.

other young volunteers go and work in the homes of people who are sick or old. they paint,clean up,or repair houses, do their shopping and mow their lawns. for boys who no longer have fathers there is an ege students and other men take these boys to basketball games or on fishing trips and help them to get to know things that boys usually learn from their fathers.

some cities have a number of clubs where boys and girls can go to play games or learn crafts. some of these clubs show movies or organize short trips to the mountains,the beaches,museums or other places of interest. most of these clubs use a lot of high school and college students as volunteers because they are young enough to remember the problems of younger boys and girls.

volunteers believe that some of the happiest people in the world are those who help to bring happiness to others.

我们来到莲石湖公园后，穿上志愿者的服装，带上手套准备开工。我们沿着小路到了湖边，湖边的垃圾湿漉漉的，有黑乎乎的垃圾袋;有腐烂的烟头;有湿漉漉的废纸;还有一些小纸片……看着都很脏。同学们并不觉得垃圾脏，拿着夹子和垃圾袋冲上去抢着捡。我想：“管它脏不脏，只要能美化环境就行!”于是，我一手拿着垃圾袋，一手拿着夹子，一夹就是一个的捡起来。湖边的垃圾终于被清理完毕了，看着整洁的环境，美丽的风景，我们心里美滋滋的。

我们又把阵地转移到了行人便道上。路上的垃圾比湖边的还要多好多倍，什么烟头啊、纸巾啊……到处都是。我还阻止过几位叔叔吸烟。我跟准备吸烟的叔叔说：“叔叔，请您不要在这里吸烟，那边有吸烟处，您可以到那里去吸烟。”叔叔对我笑了笑说：“小伙子，谢谢你提醒我。”

当我走了不到一半的路程时，我忽然放下垃圾袋说：“太累了，我不干了!”爸爸却对我说：“这么快就累了?你要为自己加油，你看那些保洁阿姨，每天都要来打扫卫生，她们怎么从来都不喊累呢?”我沉思了一小会儿，觉得爸爸的话很有道理。于是，我捡起扔掉的垃圾袋，又重新捡起了垃圾。

当我们捡完垃圾，看到干净美丽的公园，我开心极了。作为一名志愿者，我深深的体会到保洁阿姨的辛苦。其实，保护环境人人有责，只有大家齐动手，我们的环境才会更美好!

虽然很累，但是我觉得能看到运动员精湛的球技，也是很快乐的。其中令我印象最深刻的就是那场中国队的比赛。

中国队在我的印象里一直以来都是“输”的形象，可这次她们的实力让我大吃一惊。

一开场，外国队便以压倒性的实力抢先了中国队3，4分，我心想：这次比赛结束的肯定又是特别快，又是2比0。可是我身为中国人，怎么能有这种想法呢！于是我给球时轻轻对中国队队员说了句：“加油！”队员对我绽开了一个笑容。

随着时间的推移，外国队便拔得头筹，已经以实力拿下了第一盘。

这时，观众随着一个人的煽动，大声喊了起来：“中国队，加油！中国队，加油！”坐在遮阳伞下的一些大哥哥也情不自禁的喊了起来：“加油啊！”此时中国队已经开始回击了，她们用努力拿下了一局。

此时已经是1比1了，大家的心提的紧紧的，生怕中国队就这么输了，我心想：一定要赢啊，为中国争光。

两队的队员都挥洒着汗水，甚至已经可以听到浓重的喘息声，想必她们也已经非常的劳累了，我也很累了，希望中国队赶快的胜利。

时间一分一秒的过去了，比分已经是14比13，中国队离胜利只有一步之遥。

又是一球发出去，外国队一个漂亮的扣杀，将比分拉平了。

大家都有些兴奋，又有些担心，怕中国队输了。

终于，中国队一个碰网球，外国队速不及防，中国队胜利了。排山倒海般的掌声响了起来。

虽然劳累，但也是快乐的，能目睹中国队的风采。
